JSC "Belebeevsky zavod "Avtonormal" ("BelZAN") is an up-to-date machine-building enterprise specialized in manufacture of fasteners and springs for automotive industry.
In February 4th, 1967 by the resolution of the Ministers Council of the USSR it was adopted to build up new enterprises on production of completing articles for the Volzhsky Avtozavod including the Belebeevsky zavod of standard and metal products.
The construction began in October, 1967 and on the 18th of January 1971 the plant started functioning. In 1973 the production of articles for heavy trucks "KamAZ" was introduced.
Nowadays among the customers of "BelZAN" output there are almost all domestic car-assembling enterprises. They are "AvtoVAZ", "KamAZ", "UAZ", "GAZ", "GM-AvtoVAZ", AMO "ZIL", "Izh-Avto" and others, their accessory manufacturers also CIS.
